Our Services

Rentals of Beach Wheelchairs and Powered Street Mobility Scooters

Beach Mobility Rentals is pleased to offer rentals and sales of all-terrain wheelchairs as well as land-use mobility scooters. We do not rent regular “hospital” wheelchairs, walkers, knee scooters, or other medical-necessity items. Please seek home medical equipment providers for those.

Beach-specific Wheelchair Rentals

The most popularly rented beach vehicle is the DeBug, followed by the Nomad. Only the unpowered vehicles can get to the water, and as such, they are in high demand. Volusia County parks utilize chairs we sell to them, and we maintain them off-season and when they break during the heavy-use months.

Street-Use Mobility Scooter Rentals

he most requested power scooters we provide are the Pride Mobility Gogo Traveler series which are 4-wheeled and can break down into 5 separate parts for transport. These are popular for clients visiting the NASCAR, Rockville, ROLEX24, Turkey Rod Run, Jeep Beach, and other vehicle events at the world famous Daytona Speedway. Our clients also visit historic old St. Augustine, they attend school functions such as graduations for Embry Riddle, Bethune-Cookman, and Daytona State, and attend church-related activities held in city, state, and federal parks in our area. For heavier occupants, we offer a few larger scooters, but they aren’t transportable. They require that we deliver them to you, and ask that you don’t attempt to transport them yourself. In order to be able to accommodate a heavier occupant, these vehicles weigh at least 250lbs, and can get as heavy as 450lbs.

Please read this note about theme park visits. While it seems enticing to rent one of our vehicles for use at a theme park such as Disney or Universal, we cannot rescue you if the equipment malfunctions or the battery wears down. While we have entrusted some regular clients, they also understand the pitfalls associated. We highly encourage you to seek a provider in the Orlando area for a scooter. The on-site rental providers at the theme parks are prepared to easily swap vehicles if necessary, and can do so in a flash.
